About
1995
Moved to St. George, Utah from South Eastern Idaho and worked for a general contractor. Daily activities included framing, concrete, finish carpentry, & laborer.
1996-1998
Returned to Idaho to attend Idaho State University. Received an associate’s degree in electronics.
1998-2005
Worked for Intel Corporation as a clean room self-sustaining technician and as a member of the technical recruiting team. Traveled across the country interviewing and recruiting new employees. My experience working for a future 500 company were key in developing my abilities to multitask and problem solve. While I loved my time in the Northwest, my family wanted to be closer to home and I wanted to work in an environment that gave me the opportunity to work for myself.
2005-2018
Moved my family back to Utah and joined AJ Construction where I was the superintendent for many custom homes across Washington and Iron County, including many Parade homes. I also personally managed remodels for numerous commercial tenant improvements and built numerous parks throughout Washington County.
2012-2018
While still working at AJ Construction I became a founder and partner in Xcellent Homes. I personally managed the building of 5 parade homes and built numerous custom homes in St. George and Washington County. I feel it’s important to give back to the community. I donated my general contracting services and managed the remodeling of the Switchpoint Homeless Shelter.
2018-2019
Decided it was time to start working for myself and created Legit Construction. I don’t aspire to be the biggest builder in Southern Utah, I want to be the best.
